Independent auto repair shops are the backbone of the industry, but most of them still run on paper, phone calls, and disconnected spreadsheets. We set out to change that.
Mecanios is not a generic business tool adapted for shops — it was designed from the ground up for the auto repair workflow: work orders, parts, quotes, customer communication, and multi-location ops.
Our story
We started by spending months inside real auto repair shops — watching technicians juggle paper job cards, front desks handling non-stop “is my car ready?” calls, and managers trying to track inventory from memory.
What we found was a team that was great at fixing cars, using tools that were never designed for them. Mecanios is our answer to that problem.
